The time leading up to the big wedding day can be stressful. That seems like the understatement of the year, but even as planners we feel that stress. We want the day to be just right and admittedly there are jitters. This was true for Cait and Matt’s wedding day. Here’s the thing though, the way they looked at each other, and how HILARIOUS and laid back they were, made it feel like we were throwing a party for old friends. The anxiety of the day melts away when you connect with a bride and groom like these two.
Matt and Cait planned an intimate backyard wedding on the shores of Lake Superior. It was the perfect setting for their ceremony, which was performed by one of their close friends, while Caitlin’s nephew brought some serious muscle as the ring security. SERIOUSLY, HOW CUTE IS HE?! ETImages did an incredible job capturing these moments!
Following the ceremony, we moved over to one of our favorite venues in the U.P. – the Continental Fire Co. The wooden tables were topped with an amazing handmade garland from the talented Taylor Kero, mixed in with lanterns and silver accents. These touches were the perfect complement to the Continental’s industrial look.
We can safely say that this wedding was one of our favorites and made us GIDDY. It is so cool to see the tangible results of your hard work on a wedding day, and Matt and Cait’s day was so rewarding. Thank you, Matt and Cait, for trusting us with your vision. We LOVED it and you both!
